For the annual X Games Events, Charles Banfield Productions designed the
interior and exterior of the Disney Big Rig. The Disney Big Rig was built
in 1997 as a mobile marketing tool to retailers. Since its conception,
there have been multiple rigs built for companies such as Nestle, Sea World,
Nascar, Nintendo, and most recently as a traveling memorial to the
victims of the September 11th tragedy.

For the X Games- the actual rig was transformed into an X Games Museum. Memorabilia dating
back to the first year of X Games was styled within the hydraulic, air-ride trailer. The
side pop-outs were extended to accommodate the crowds of visitors. The once giant Mickey
Mouse images on the trailers side panels were covered in a computer generated decal skin.
All of the images were created from the Disney Style guide for X Games. The majority of the
props were assembled with typical building supplies from the hardware store for an urban
industrial vibe.
