Never one to tell a
nervous groom he has "lofty" ideas - Charles filled this groom's fantasy for his bride by creating a tree
house for 160 guests in their family's backyard. Faced with the challenge of a creek bed running through the property,
a 1200 square foot deck was suspended 18 feet off the ground and tented with open half-walls.
Soft amber lighting up lit the surrounding trees, enhancing the natural moonlight to create a wild fire
effect. Added was the soft sound of crickets and frogs putting this couple and their guests in an
elegant but natural woodsy environment. The bride and groom were married the week prior in a private
ceremony in a vineyard in the Napa valley.
Following this theme, pave arrangements of cream and rust roses mixed with grape clusters and stripped
sunflowers, pillar candles and soft moss helped to accent the tables that were covered in an organza
autumn leave overlay. Overhead, five wrought iron chandeliers dressed with grapevines, grape clusters
and seasonal leaves added to the candlelight. California pepper berry branches were strapped to the
tent rafters creating small canopies throughout the tent. Moss green chenille throws draped the backs
of the ladies' chairs taking the chill out of the October evening air.
Charles enabled the bride and groom to make their choices together by providing a full menu of décor and music possibilities.
Guiding the couple in every aspect, Charles helped design the wedding reception of their dreams. They stayed within their
budget without compromising style, right from the invitations to the wedding cake. The day of celebration arrived with no
surprises and, much to the delight of the couple, no anxiety. It was an evening of sweet memories not just for the guests
but the bride and groom, as well.
