• February 2008: Charles recently produced a Habitat for Humanity event in San Pedro,
California, honoring former President Jimmy Cater and the former First Lady. This is the
second event Charles created for the former President. The first was with Party Planner’s West,
Inc., for the return… of the troops from Desert Storm and was the last time that six presidents
were in attendance at the same time.
• January 2008: Charles starts the New Year with a new contract!!! In his exclusive role as Events Manager for Contessa Premium Foods (www.contessa.com) Charles will oversee all of the Events, Trade Shows, and Promotions for the global company. • MARCH 2007: Charles signed on with EarthOne Productions as Executive Producer, Special Events for the World Peace One Concert to take place on August 11, 2007. The 24 hour concert and telethon will take place in 15 countries around the world to raise awareness of the need for world peace in our lifetimes. 
• MARCH 2007: The entry treatment from the
Diva Bling event made the cover of Special Events Magazine for the March issue.

• January 2007: Charles Banfield receives a proclamation from the City of Los Angeles naming him “one of the nations best kept secrets in modern event design”. The proclamation was awarded to Charles backstage, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, at the Diva Bling Event he produced for the Special Event Show’s Opening Night Showcase Event. The event was attended by 3,000 National and International Special Event Professionals. The award was in recognition of the enormous task of creating and producing the largest trade showcase event to date for his own global special events industry. The event featured performances by Eartha Kitt, Taylor Dayne, Shanice, Morganne, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Champagne Showgirls, Choozi Entertainment, DJ Schpilkas, and the Living Garden Fountains. It also showcased the bands: Soul in the Machine, Sensation Showband, Wayne Foster Entertainment featuring SHOWDANCE. • September, 2006: Loyola Marymount University, Southern California, awards the “Entrepreneurial Star Award of 2006” to Charles Banfield “…with appreciation for his the outstanding Entrepreneurial efforts and impact. For past achievements and the future impact he will have in the world of entrepreneurship, are inspiring!”. Given by Dr. Fred Kiesner, School of Business, Hilton Chair of Entrepreneurship. 
• Charles Banfield has been awarded the 2005 Gala Award
in the prestigious category "Best Event Produced for a Private Individual, $500.00 or more per guest"

• Charles Banfield was asked to Chair the Opening Night Showcase Event for The Special Event Show. The convention takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in January 2007. The Showcase Event will take place in 96,000 sq. ft. with double the past year's attendance making it the largest Showcase Event the show has ever hosted. The event- themed “Diva Bling”- will feature performances by Eartha Kitt and Taylor Dayne among others. See TheSpecialEventShow.com for details. • Charles takes on the Big Apple! Charles Banfield Productions expands to New York provide a wider spectrum of event related services worldwide. • The Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame Gala kicked off the 2003 season - and Charles' "Space Exploration" design is the subject of a feature article in the September issue of 'Special Events' magazine. • Charles is a finalist for a Spotlight Award given by Event Solutions Magazine, in the category of Event Producer of the Year for 2002. The awards presentation will take place in San Diego at the Event Solutions Convention in August, 2003. • Charles' home was recently featured in an article in the Los Angeles Times Real Estate Section, entitled "Inspired Dad Really Turns On The Charm". • Charles recorded several guest appearances for DIY ("Do-It-Yourself") Network that started airing in October, 2002 - check local listings for first run and rerun dates. • Charles' home was recently featured on Kitty Bartholomew's "Your Home Show" on HGTV, Home and Garden Television.
