For those few of you who don't know her yet, when she was adopted going on 7 years ago, her nearly complete vernacular consisted of "I can't" and "I'm scared". I have always taught her that those words were the most untrue and dangerous words in the English language. They limit us. They are not the words of a true dreamer. In the conception - and throughout the planning of Diva Bling, I was faced with many people who used those same dirty, little words (and if not used, thought them for at least a minute). I take this opportunity to congratulate the risk takers, my sponsors, for their pioneering spirit and overwhelming commitment to my "blue-sky" dream, Diva Bling. I have been kept awake at night (since July, literally) with excitement for this TSE Opening Night Showcase Event. I have been brought to tears by the many phone calls, encouraging me to keep going and growing bigger and bigger. It has become more than just an event- it's more like a culture. I've been challenged, teased, harassed, and paraded, awarded and rewarded - over and over again for my involvement with the Prism Media Family. I highly encourage anyone who has ever had that fabulous pit in the stomach when that "wow" moment happens in dress rehearsals - get involved! You will never regret the effort.
