Ms. Bling Morelle

AKA: Bling Morelle-Carrington, Bling Morelle-Enron, Bling Morelle-Trump, Bling Morelle-Barnum, Bling Bling More-Elle, Yahodas Margolin

Born: "Well, that one's easy. January 10, 19-None of your damn business."

Even as a young girl Bling aspired for greatness. She began a thriving business career on the schoolyard, trading services for goods. Later, the business evolved into what is now known as "the multi-tiered pyramid" and the rest is entrepreneurial history. Suffice to say, with Bling's skill, demeanor, and cutting wit - business has been really, really good.

"Those Nancy Drew lunch boxes didn't grow on trees, you know. It was my priority, at the time, to upgrade from the standard red plaid patterned box and Thermos. Those silly things are valuable now."

Bling's impending divorce is partially responsible for her recent windfall at the Ellen Barkin Auction. Bling has always had an affinity for diamonds. She is single handedly responsible for the entire "Bling-Bling" culture. She coined the phrase early on, which she planted at the grass roots level, in the Hip-Hop genre. This was accomplished through her gang alliances, which were forged to enforce her former husband(s) to relinquish their rights to pre-nuptial agreements.

After years of being granted the "Public Relations" makeovers, that throwing successful charity events can give, Bling wanted to give back to the Special Events Industry for making her look so good for so long. She focused her affections on the TSE Opening Night Showcase Event for it's obvious gifts to the Industry through cutting edge attractions in all fields. With her apparent ease in all things entertaining, she renamed the event "Diva Bling" after the pet name given to her by none other than Donatella. (Donald) "Donatella" Schwartz from the Upper East Side, her manicurist, yet another who makes Bling look good.

"Thank God for gay men, you know? Who better to do your house, your hair, your flowers, and your parties?"

And so the branding machine began to produce the largest Special Event Industry Showcase Event to have ever been created, all under the name "Diva Bling".

"It's going to be bigger than Barbie and Mattel, with a lot less plastic parts, if you know what I mean."

Though on January 10th we celebrate Bling Morelle's Birthday, every day is Diva Bling Day, and there is always an excuse for gift giving. Bling has an open gift registry at Tiffany's, Van Clef, Bulgari, and Harry Winston.

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend, lover, and therapist, Darling! As Stockard Channing said in a recent film while standing at the counter of Tiffany's - If a man gave me that not only would I make love to him, I would enjoy it!"

Her many philanthropies include the Make a Wish Foundation, the Westside Children's Center, and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's - HIRE the Youth Program.

"Because every child should be healthy and strong enough to handle a leaf blower."

And, last but not least, the SEARCH Foundation, yet another very eventful cause to effect.

As if Diva Bling - the event, was not enough to focus on with it's 60,000 square feet of dance floor, Diva performances, and so, so much more - she is also in the process of adopting an African baby.

"You heard it here first, an African baby accessory will be to the year 2007, what the dressed up Chihuahua was to 2006. Don't believe me, ask Madonna. And Paris, with her little Tinkerbell, can't even get arrested on a good day anymore."

Her plans for the future include maintaining her regularly scheduled spa services and surgery touch-ups, her charity events, art guild luncheons, Au Pair interviews, and teaching her stripper aerobics class at Crunch Gym in Chelsea(http://www.crunch.com/crunch). Her most recent focus has turned to advertising where her likeness is portrayed with her friend Iman in the "I am African" ad campaign and you can also see her on billboards in the Holiday Gap ad campaign and with her friends Helen Mirrin and Snoop Dogg.

"Nothing says I love you to the world like a well placed international ad and a well executed interpretive pole dance. Both are, simply, gifts that just keep giving."

Fine Print: The opinions and statements of Bling Morelle are not endorsed or supported by Prism Media,
or The Special Event Tradeshow and Conference. They are simply the drunken rantings of a narcissistic,
self-involved, over-indulgent, and fictitious character. Diva Bling - Bling it on - Play along.
